So let me get this straight. You've been bragging about driving a 6 year old car that you overpaid for by $10k - $15kr? And that's an absolute best-case scenario assuming it was in perfect condition.

You're not a badass you're a sucker.

2006 ZCP's are regularly $35-37k. This car was exceptional.

Y U SO JELLY?

Only if you're trying to acquire one in the Arctic Circle and it comes with 24 karat rims.

I paid less for a car that is worth more. I'm pretty content :)

Proof you are clueless to ZCP values. What car and what did you pay?

Probably why I am not considering these brag threads.

I want a good umbrella because I am stuck on long walks outside in my line of work and tried of umbrellas breaking.

The Davek can blow inside out and still restore itself. It looks good as well and I am big on aesthetics.

Like right now in Florida, it could be totally sunny, no rain in the forecast and a quick 15 min down pour occur out of no where.

Some might say it is your defining characteristic.

Nope I included the Competition Package. I also gave you the highest benefit of the doubt and assumed it was in perfect condition.

You got taken end of story. It doesn't mean you can't enjoy your 6 year old M3 but I'd probably stop injecting into every conversation as a bragging set piece especially if you're not prepared to be a little quieter about what you paid for it.

For me let's just say I spent a little less than what your car is actually worth for one that was worth about $3k - $5k more. It's called getting a good deal and requires several acquired life skills including but not limited to MATH.

LoL won't say car....muhahahahahaah

You are trolling.

If you are using KBB or Edmunds you are clueless. They will show mint condition 944 Turbos being way below their values too.

You will not find a 2005/2006 ZCP M3 even without all my options at anywhere below $30k unless a high mileage beater.

Fuck me, I can't order the Duet tonight as the all black is on back order. I am thinking the Duet will be the right choice for my bag and the Solo can live in my glove box.

I don't like the BMW passenger foot well (on the transmission tunnel) option. They have a nice umbrella too with an LED flashlight built into the handle.

I really don't get all the 'men' out there saying they don't need umbrellas, getting wet is fine. They must work construction or something outdoors which is cool, but no need for them to be so vocal about it. Personally I'd rather not plop down in my leather seats soaking wet, show up at a 6+ figure deal for time and materials looking like a slob, and lastly arrive somewhere in a downpour with a chick/wife and not have something to keep her dry.

I do agree spending $200+ for a couple umbrellas is expensive. However the time savings in not having to replace them and having a nice looking conversation piece is nice.

Also Davek gives a card with every umbrella worth one half price replacement for loss. So if I ever fall into retard land and somehow lose my umbrella or if it gets stolen, I get one half price shot at replacing it.

I have a nice sturdy wind resistant umbrella made by Futai. I think I paid $30 for it...maybe $40, I don't remember, I've had it for years. It is big enough for my wife and I to easily fit under and it is pretty sturdy, never has it turned inside out and it has an unconditional lifetime warranty.

Only trouble is it isn't collapsible and as such it is about 3' long. Still, this is my umbrella of choice whenever the weather gets nasty here.

I think you are out of your league, most won't know them any different than a standard umbrella in classic black.

What are you wittering on about now?
There's a league of umbrella owners? How does that work then?

And if there's little difference to a standard umbrella why pay the extra?

Second thought, just go with Burberry. Only upper-middle, or upper class actually recognize Davek umbrellas as being luxury, Burberry will be recognized by all classes, which definitely helps. You don't want lower middle and lower class people thinking they might be able to go out and purchase your umbrella.

My point exactly. If you want the status to be recognized by all classes, go with burberry. If you want your status recognized by only those of equal or higher status, go davek. Ultimately its up to you, but given that you were earlier thinking about a rolex for your wife, I think burberry would suit you better.

By all means keep using Alkemyst's Guide To Getting Fucked Sideways On A Car Purchase instead of KBB and Edmunds.

If you paid a dime over $35k you paid too much. Again best case scenario and the car looks smells and drives like it just rolled off the lot. The first time.

But none of that even matters. You seem to yip and yap about your M3 as if you're driving a fresh one that you dropped $80k on. In reality you've got a 6 year old used car that you overpaid for.

So the next time you're at a stop light and a soccer mom rolls up beside you in her 2012 Honda Odyssy, I want you to remember two things: her car is worth more than yours and she probably has better negotiating skills even when she's compromised by 3 little squirts screaming for a PB&J sammich.

But you have time to whine like a bitch on the internet.

I don't date trailer trash. I am sure dinner out is MikeyD's and some PBR in the parking lot.

I think my taxes in a month are what your car is worth.

1. How can what I wrote be construed as whining?

2. No need to eat out when I'm perfectly content enjoying a meal that my GF and I made. Once again, you prove that you're a shallow & self-obsessed idiot who's only concerned about looking good, and that you lack substance beneath your sleazy "aesthetics".

3. Dude, fucking Octomom's monthly taxes are worth more than my car. But it gets 35mpg, has 155k miles on it, and I've never had to replace anything besides tires, oil, and fluids. Let me know when your precious M3 you overpaid for can match that. With the money that I save not paying for a car I'll continue to skydive and ride my Triumph instead of trying to keep up with the Joneses.

LOL comparing one of the most iconic cars in history to a Honda Odyssey (that you can't even spell right and I only have to assume you got the bare bones since you didn't specify trim level). You do realize if you priced out the top model with 15k miles on it and one year old it falls below my cars value.

The car was mint and new enough for BMW to make an exception and cover my car bumper to bumper for 60k miles (until 86,000 miles) or 4 years more. The car was $37k, the delivery/tax plus the $5700 I paid for the warranty was all part of it.

So that's your WIFE'S car, what you drive. I bought my wife a 2012 Mazda 3s Grand Touring in Oct/Nov...

A FUCKING HONDA ODYSSEY LOL! Have fun Driving Miss Daisy BRAH!

Many of our posters have an M3 or E46 BMW, I was asking about a smaller umbrella being able to fit in the glove box.

Did you even read the OP or is English not your first language?
Yeah, I read it and it says "for my daily bag" and nothing about a glove box. Maybe your memory is fading?

The E46 coupe from the year 2000 onward and even with the smallest four cylinder engine has exactly the same internal dimensions, so no need to brag about a seven year old car you paid too much money for.

Car rich, you are not. House poor, you are.

House poor? my mortgage is only $2200...I pay more on my monthly CC bill usually :)

In the OP

The other I am debating is the Mini vs the Traveller. I need to measure my glove box. If the traveller will fit, it will be in my M3 all the time. If anyone has an M3 and these let me know which fit.

We have been over this. I qualified your statement above.

I bet your cars smell like mildew if you truly get wet much and go sit in them.
As I don't drive an over priced M3, my car smells like money.

I read you were upside down $300k on your house, but it's your retirement, not mine...

Like I said, even a euro 318ci has the same glovebox, you're just trying to brag about your last gen M3. Sad.
