Fuck me, I can't order the Duet tonight as the all black is on back order. I am thinking the Duet will be the right choice for my bag and the Solo can live in my glove box.

I don't like the BMW passenger foot well (on the transmission tunnel) option. They have a nice umbrella too with an LED flashlight built into the handle.

I really don't get all the 'men' out there saying they don't need umbrellas, getting wet is fine. They must work construction or something outdoors which is cool, but no need for them to be so vocal about it. Personally I'd rather not plop down in my leather seats soaking wet, show up at a 6+ figure deal for time and materials looking like a slob, and lastly arrive somewhere in a downpour with a chick/wife and not have something to keep her dry.

I do agree spending $200+ for a couple umbrellas is expensive. However the time savings in not having to replace them and having a nice looking conversation piece is nice.

Also Davek gives a card with every umbrella worth one half price replacement for loss. So if I ever fall into retard land and somehow lose my umbrella or if it gets stolen, I get one half price shot at replacing it.

So you can brag about it on the internet and fuel your delusions of grandeur. That's why.

lol $100 purchases are hardly bragging.

Didn't you say you were making $250k+ once? I really don't believe that with this attitude that a nice umbrella purchase is now a brag thread.

Is this the Dyson vacuum of umbrellas?

Oh, and this thread is lulz worthy. :D

Dyson is the 'commoners' elite vacuum.

Think Miele or Electrolux for what the wealthy have in their home.

There is was a special Electrolux stick vac (their Ergorapido line up, I have their latest Ergorapido Ion) for $20,000 a few years back. Mine was $200. :)

Hold on...so there are umbrella snobs?

Do posh umbrellas keep the rain off better?

And has anyone not looked like a tit using one?

I think you are out of your league, most won't know them any different than a standard umbrella in classic black.

This thread is lulz.

Yes, I do work construction.
No, I don't carry an umbrella with me.
No, I don't have any problem sitting my wet ass down on the fabric seats in my 2001 Civic.
No, I don't have a fragile ego that requires me to confirm every single purchase with strangers.
Yes, I have a girlfriend.
No, she's not a prissy little bitch like your girlfriends or wife and requires someone to protect her from a little bit of rain. If we're going somewhere and she looks nice I'll do the manly thing, drop her off, then park the car.

If you make so much money, just buy one of each and use them accordingly.

But you have time to whine like a bitch on the internet.

I don't date trailer trash. I am sure dinner out is MikeyD's and some PBR in the parking lot.

I think my taxes in a month are what your car is worth.

I like how the one thing you seem to be able to remember about people is how much money they make.

How much was your M3?

I don't buy name brand umbrellas.

Come to think of it, I don't use umbrellas at all. Why am I even posting in here?

For quality umbrellas, I would only buy one made in UK, or at the very least one highly recommended by british folk, maybe that means Davek not sure, but considering they have to use them every day of their life, they know their umbrellas.

??? it was a 2006 M3 ZCP I purchased this December. 25,000 miles on the clock.

So let me get this straight. You've been bragging about driving a 6 year old car that you overpaid for by $10k - $15kr? And that's an absolute best-case scenario assuming it was in perfect condition.

You're not a badass you're a sucker.
