I don't know why you guys are giving Alky such a hard time. After all, he lives in a used house, drives a used car... all he wanted some advice on buying a new umbrella.

oh man that is rich.

Can you ask your mom what time she wants me to stop by?

Pick up your room brag, her bitching about it is going to make me beat the shit out of her one day as you know I have a record of doing that.

I didn't realize Davek had a golf umbrella o_O I'd rather have that for everything. The solo was a gift but I did compare it to the duet at Neiman Marcus. I guess at the time it seemed almost too big. After checking the golf umbrellas online I'll definitely have to spring for one. Although I am a little worried about the smaller more portable models inverting in heavy wind.

then again it is a davek, and my solo hasn't inverted once.

A heafty bag with three holes cut out should be more fitting for you. Make a nice hat out of the cut out parts.

one 40 year old 180lb friend with an Ariel Atom.

I'll be your friend Alky... AND be hyper-impressed by your car... if you get an Ariel Atom.

But if you do, you're going to need the smaller umbrella... not much of a boot.

All hail Alkemyst, High Troll King of ATOT!
Congratulations, you've managed to pull in another angry crowd, and made a hell of a show out of it.

500 posts, that's the number I figured when I was a kid. 500 posts and you could consider yourself a legitimate internet tough guy. You need them for experience. To develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being a faux tough guy and all that. But really, it never stops being the point. You never get past the silliness of it all. After tens of thousands more posts, you realize that's what you are.

I stopped using umbrellas years ago. Its either a hoodie for drizzle/light rain or a rain coat/waterproof parka.

I hate carrying around an umbrella, and they are almost all terrible for wind.

If you were hyper-impressed by my car, you'd never be my friend.

This is where you and the other retards missed the point of things.

So is the Ariel Atom going to be your first purchase when you start making $140,000 straight out of school as a teacher? Are you still going to collect assistance in the meantime?
