As much as I thought this guy was a great pit bull to take on Republicans. As much as the bar has been lowered by both sides, although Republicans have a big edge in numbers and hypocrisy. This guy has to go. Too many shenanigans, lies, distractions.

Yep, that's exactly what I meant. I too don't care much about sexting per se. It's the poor judgment, particularly in continuing with it after the scandal.

I kind of think there should be a price to pay for being a pile of horse shit. I think that trying to return to public life after shaming his family like he did marks him as a man of a man with a profoundly sick case of hubris and a rejection of any sense that doing wrong has consequence.
