iron your shirts? Sorry you lose.

What if you worked at an office and have to wear dress shirts?? You cant go there with wrinkled up shirts unless you have a wife/gf to iron it for you.
They should be ironed, but a polo shirt should not be.

I iron most of my clothes including jeans. I do not iron the boxers or undershirts.

I think it makes one look more presentable.

Jeans...I wipe my hands on my jeans. I also wipe my mouth on the knees of my jeans.

I just pictured myself ironing my jeans, then I pictured myself walking into that same picture...and kicking myself in the ass.

dude, napkins...

plus, why in the world would you wipe your mouth on your jeans?

As the resident Metro of my office, I can tell you its not about acting Gay/fem, or however you would like to see it. Metro is having the sense of style, culture, manners, interest in fashion and whatnot. These traits are commonly associated with homosexuals and women. However, being a Metrosexual, you are graced with the best of both worlds, i.e. all of the above traits, as well as enjoying sports, working out, going to Home depot, interest in cars.

You sir, should be proud to be a metrosexual...

I only voted yes because you have that as the default so I guess that is what you wanted

I voted no even though you got close with the wearing pink and knowing it would work with your dark complexion. Wow.

You forgot it's also about being derided by real men. Plus, I think most metro's sense of culture stops past the clothing ads in their favourite fagazine.

I guess majority of people saying "AIeee!! He is a metro!!!!" isn't concerned with their appearance.

Ironing shirts? Big deal, in professional life, it's good to look tidy.

Plucking eye brows? What, you don't shave? The main point of these two is to rid get of unwanted hair. Same objective, different methods.

Wearing pink. I am not insecure about my sexuality, so I don't mind wearing pink. Hell, I have a pink golf polo.

I am just dumbfounded by some posters indicating they wear dirty jeans, wiping their mouth on it and trying to sound macho.

This country in general is very homophobic.

I use a #4 clipper across mine every couple of weeks. It helps keep them from getting all bushy. If you were trimming your bikini line or something, then I'd vote yes. Anything with facial hair I think is OK.

So, real men have a unibrow, drag their knuckles on the ground when they walk and wear nothing but flannel shirts?

Call me a metro then. I'd rather be a metro than a big dumb ape. :D

All of the above quoted..... METRO'S

I find this thread hilarious because so many people seem to be taking me seriously. I thought it was clear I was just being an ass, as usual.

Actually I am concerned with my appearance, but in more traditional and masculine ways. I don't care a rat's ass about my hair (1/2" clippers on that crap), and my clothes I wear what mrsskoorb tells me to, but I work out, which is more than I can say for any of the metros I personally know, so while they have nice clothes, I can't say they care anymore about themselves than I do. In fact if anything, it's false advertising. Give me a chick with a poor sense of style and a rocking bod than some girl wearing $600 in clothing but a cottage cheese ass.

it doesn't do anything

animals need hair/fur to stay warm because they don't wear clothing, for humans that wear clothing, hair is meaningless

so why would you waste a microsecond doing anything about it? especially on your face like that/eyebrow/unibrow, so what

Yeah..I mean, why should girls bother shaving their legs or armpits? Screw that, we should all go natural.

honestly thought if you want to meet a metro walk around a mall area in manhattan/staten isalnd/long island......you will quickly see you have little to worry about.
