Aren't you the president of them, Mr purple and pink-striped, collar-flipper Hilfiger-wearer?

I've never advertised the fact that I think I'm metrosexual. You said it, not me.

How lame is that, making yourself look good _for yourself_. "Skoorb thinks that these jeans look hot on Skoorb, so Skoorb will wear them more."

its not lame its about doing what makes you happy. If you think a pair of jeans look good on you and feel good wearing them then you sohuld not give a rats ass about anyone else. Its respectable to live your life on your own terms.

if you're plucking your eyebrows shape, then that's pretty gay. if your just cleaning up the unibrow hairs, then that's ok

Plucking your eyebrows is not a bag thing if your trying to prevent a unibrow. But if your plucking them to give em some definition that pretty metro. Also I dont think there is nothing wrong with dressing well either

As the resident Metro of my office, I can tell you its not about acting Gay/fem, or however you would like to see it. Metro is having the sense of style, culture, manners, interest in fashion and whatnot. These traits are commonly associated with homosexuals and women. However, being a Metrosexual, you are graced with the best of both worlds, i.e. all of the above traits, as well as enjoying sports, working out, going to Home depot, interest in cars.

You sir, should be proud to be a metrosexual...
You forgot it's also about being derided by real men. Plus, I think most metro's sense of culture stops past the clothing ads in their favourite fagazine.

I thin kyou would be surprised...I regularly visit museums, art shows, liver musical performances...I also studied many cultures while in school. So I would have to say that you are wrong in your assumptions about my fagazines...the subscriptions I have...Auto Week, Mens Health, Newsweek, Auto Week.

And where, pray tell, do you think you got the impression of what does or doesn't look good? Really, are you trying to pick yourself up? Any time somebody makes themselves look good they are hoping others will notice. Afterall that "looking good" is in their eyes, as your opinion of what looks good is based upon popular opinion, to some extent (to be otherwise would mean you live in a psychopathic world devoid of external influence!).

I do what I want. If some of those activities are "metro", so be it. I really couldn't give a sh!t.

well as long as you are not tailoring your own outfits you to some extent as you say will have to conform to some sort of style based upond which stores you purchase your clothing at. When you try on a pair of jeans and they are squeezing your nuts like plums in a bag I dont need external influence to tell me whether or not I think that is appealing to my eyes.

but yes if you want to get technical since we were kids we have been conditioned to believe what men and women should dress like. That does not mean there isnt personal preference though.
