Reviews confirm what I suspected, definitely won't be watching that heaping pile of garbage.

I thought it said -13%. I thought it was so bad it broke the scale.

I thought the preview looked pretty cool. Of course, I love most post apocalyptic movies, even if they are "bad".

Kid will be the biggest star in the world 10 years from now and his dad will be president.

If you watch Jayden Smith in movies (or even in TV interviews), it's like his dad told him "Here's the formula to be a TV and movie star. Just act like "this"."

The problem is, the kid doesn't seem to have any natural talent or screen presence. He should have started out on a Disney sitcom or something to build his chops before getting thrust into blockbuster movies.

Yeah, clearly that worked well for Miley Cyrus.:colbert:

For whatever reason Will's son gets on my nerves....

I might watch it when it's released. We don't really do the "watch a movie when it comes out" thing.

We dislike movie theaters but we might hit it up once a year or so (if that).

He was recently running around in public wearing Iron Man pajamas. Why did his handlers not have him in After Earth pajamas? PR Fail...

Miley has some actual talent though. Her problem is her fame came behind a costume...kids love Hanna Montana and she actually toured as her. She needs to make a solid country album or do a decent comedy movie for people to take her seriously.

The semi-trainwreck person she is now is just her trying to say "Hey, I'm all grown up! It's OK to start lusting after my boobs and not go to jail!"

Oh I didn't realize it was M. Night. Thank you for this thread. There was a very small chance I was maybe going to watch that movie, saved me a few bucks.

I thought he did okay in Karate Kid, pursuit of happiness wasn't a big enough role for me to make an opinion one way or another about it, but this is his first movie as a teenager and it's in a role that appears like it would set him on a path as an adult star.

Doing TV with a lot of time in front of the camera and getting a lot of feedback would definitely have helped. I mean that's what his dad did after all...

Not just him, I would stay away from any movie with Damon Lindelof anywhere on the credit list.

He isn't on these credits, he co-wrote Star Trek Into Darkness though... which I liked, but I'm not big into star trek to know if it offended trekkies or not.

I haven't seen anything else from his filmography though, from a quick look I recall hearing that Cowboys & aliens sucked, prometheus sucked, and Lost ended horribly.
