Sometimes you really miss the point.
Sometimes?
Sometimes you really miss the point.
Sometimes you really miss the point.
It isn't hard. It is already a garbage count with respect to Illegal Aliens. This is just a ploy for the Democrats to bump up the numbers. Their time would be better spent beating the streets and getting the illegals to truthfully participate in the census.
Explain why it is legit. I'm not accepting your premise.Back at you. The point is the citizenship question is a valid legitimate question. The protest is from the areas that want to be sanctuary cities and states. They have attracted huge numbers of illegals. Maybe if they would conform to the laws it would not be an issue.
I've seen him not miss it on occasion.Sometimes?

Yeh, that's some MAGA, for sure- fucking over the most populous places so that... what, exactly? So that the job creators get big fat tax cuts with money borrowed from them? Or is it just for the delicious libruhl tears?
American citizens who live in those areas will receive federal representation and funding proportional to the number of American citizens that live in those areas. No American citizen will lose proportional representation due to a question on the census asking them to identify themselves as such.I love your "if they would conform to the law" routine, too. Who is they? American citizens who live in those places where intentional under counting deprives them of an honest share of federal funding & representation?

If those areas then choose to declare themselves as sanctuaries for people who are not American citizens, they are welcome to bear the cost of that decision.
This aggression of counting things accurately will not stand!Incorrect. Representation has always been based on population, not citizenship. It's a Constitutional requirement & it's been that way since the first census in 1790.

You're not supposed to admit that current GOP efforts are designed to under count people in urban areas but you did, anyway, so thanks for at least that smidgen of honesty.
You are aware that non-citizens live and work in this country legally, paying taxes, while also being provided government services. This aggression of counting things accurately will not stand!
This “controversy” only exposes the real motivation behind sanctuary policies, so glad to see the hypocrisy exposed for what it is. I think the Democrats should make the census question a banner issue for the midterms.

Why should my local law enforcement be forced into enforcing Federal immigration laws? They have better things to be doing, like enforcing the local laws.

Yes, if only there was a way to differentiate those with legal and non-legal statusYou are aware that non-citizens live and work in this country legally, paying taxes, while also being provided government services.
Right?
Sanctuary policy is de facto immigration policy. That is why some towns and counties in SoCal, and eventually others, are now starting to challenge it.The whole thing is really settled law-

States lack the Constitutional authority to enforce federal law and may not make their own laws wrt immigration.
IndeedLol and there it is, yet another conspiracy.
You are hopeless.
I know right, it would be a shame if the federal government took away your servant class. Why should my local law enforcement be forced into enforcing Federal immigration laws? They have better things to be doing, like enforcing the local laws.

Please, spare me the pearl clutching. We’ve been kicking this can down the road for over a decade, and the only reason we’ve not come to a solution is because its a politically and financially exploitable situation. Why solve it when you can leverage it. We are the only western democracy that entertains this insanity, and now you are upset because of a question on a census? You want a “fair share” of the federal pie to perpetuate the insanity? Try crossing the border into Canada or Mexico as a refugee or migrant worker and see how long you last. And then what- deport them all?
That's apparently the delusion of every right wing immigration retard in America.
They're here & 2/3 have been for over 10 years. They're not going away, either, & trying to deprive the communities where they settled of fair representation & a fair share of the federal pie is simply wrong. Those communities can't keep them from living there even if they wanted.
It's what I've come to expect from the GOP, however- fucking over their fellow Americans every chance they get.
