fire going on near los angeles so decided to not do today's workout (involved running outside).

instead, did today's burpee challenge for time. 50 conveniently enough

5/22 - 50 in 2min, 13sec

HN - awesome time. Did you do the "official" 50 burpees for time, where each rep includes a jump 1 foot above max reach? At any rate, that's crazy fast, so well done.

HN, that time is downright insane. Out of shame, I will never time my burpees.

5/26 - 12 hours after my son was born, I did 54 burpees (11, 13, 10, 10, 10). The hospital has reallly thick floors and walls, so it barely makes any noise.

5/27 - 55 (15, 15, 15, 10) Still in the hospital, and probably will be until Friday.

Thanks! They're both doing great, pretty much ideal in every way. Becky is up and walking around a little and Ian is eating and pooping like a champ, if there were championships for that, at least.

Thanks for the congrats. I have small amounts of spare time during the day, but I haven't used any of them. I end up doing my burpees at night when he's eating or sleeping. Maybe I'll split them up better tomorrow.
