 RagingBITCH would be proud!
11.5 miles today.
Checked the results for my trail race yesterday and they made an error - I was actually 5th, not 6th! I'll take it heh.

It means I like your pre-race hydration methodology and I'm now extending it to my training sessions .

lol. I only approve if you can drink your beer and not miss your training sessions, hence me doing my runs in the morning. There's always the chance of a happy hour or something later on after work...gotta keep those open for pre-run hydration.
Been drinking before runs now have you?![]()

Well I had 2 the night before my trail race the other weekend:laugh:. But seriously I hardly drink these days - sometimes 2 on a Saturday night with friends.
I do morning workouts but between the gym and running, I "double up" 3 days a week so it doesn't leave a lot of evenings free. The sacrifices I tell ya.

lol. Yes I know the feeling. Waking up at 5AM for 6 days in a row during marathon training sucks.Leaves the beer drinking at night though
How many days a week are you doing weights?

4x800 m intervals on the track tonight.
Holy balls that was tough. I was trying to go 5k race pace (72-73 sec laps). I started off around 79-80 seconds per lap, and even on the last one, I couldn't clock any faster than 75 seconds.
Apparently I'm all aerobic these days.
5 miles including warmup and cooldown.

I couldn't wait for the sun to go down to run, I've got to go back in to work tonight. So, I did a short 8 miler in the hot sun on the hilly roads of my area.Originally posted by: SWScorch

I have a confession to make. I didn't attack any hills today. I am seriously front-loading my week as my girlfriend and I are going camping Friday-Tuesday and I know I won't be able to get any decent mileage in then. So my legs are whining (the pansies!) and convinced me just do an easy 11-miler instead. I'll see if they're up for hills tomorrow. So that brings us to..... 6180

Haha, yep, it's made a morning person out of me.
I'm in the gym for core strength (weights and ball work) 3 times per week (Mon/Wed/Fri). I may have to cut back to 2 sessions with more sets per session once my mileage gets higher; I'll see how I feel in a few weeks.

Try doing full body workouts 2x a week. (I do them M/F) I normally do heavy weights w/ barbells on Mondays and lighter weights/dumbbells/higher reps on Fridays just to mix it up. It'd be nice to be able to deadlift/squat the numbers I was two years ago, but trashing my legs like I used to isn't good for the running!![]()
