factory unlocked applies to the multiplier only. 9x133 & 12x100 will get you the same frequency but your cpu is an athlon B. this is the one rated with a 100Mhz fsb it is the athlon C that is rated for a 133 fsb. you should still be able to O/C the fsb but i will be suprised if you can get...

get a copy of sisoft sandra 2001E Pro. this will do the trick.

12.5 is the highest you will get. although i have heard reports that this has been remapped/defaults to 13. this is the case on my AV7133. yes you will see an improvement in games. 1300 is doable but you will need good cooling.

What bios are you using? i have 1005 and any fsb over 120 uses a pci multiplier of 1/4. so at 133x0.25 you should get a pci freq of 33.25 if your bios dosen't do this (can't remember if mine did or didn't before i got 1005) then try a newer bios. also what ram are you using, and remember that...

it will do 11x132 but not even 8x133. i'm taking the memory back to the seller and GETTING not requesting a replacement and some form of compensation.:disgust:

the duron is not designed to run with a fsb of 133. start with a low multiplier then increase until it wont boot, then back off a littlewith the fsb and gradually increase the multiplier. you are running it at different multipliers so i assume it has been unlocked.:confused:

no change, except for my underware as the bitch now uses my 300W speakers for the beep on POST. theese were left on and turned up as i'd just been listening to some music.

yep tried it at 1.85 no change. just got the latest bios er 1005 flashing now hopefull i will get back to you with a sucsess story. :D

gigabyte Ga7ZM. good board very stable, and available in stores here in U.K for only £50.00 can be got cheaper on line at various sites.

i have an a7v133, a 1.3Ghz athlon, 256 pc133 ram. the problem is i cant seem to get it to run at 133fsb. it will do 132x10.5 and most multipliers below but the thing will not doe 133x anything. i would like to up the fsb and lower the multiplier. wahts going on and how do i fix it.:confused:
