I would recommend you try lowering the cpu multiplier to hit 133mhz fsb. It's possible you have simply reached the limit on the chip.

The problem is definitely the CPU or your RAM... is your RAM rated for 133 mhz (I know you say it's 133 but have you run a program to actually verify, is it good RAM or generic?)

The problem is definitely not the mobo, that mobo is good up to 150 mhz.

Try switching the i/o voltage jumper to "test" instead of the default setting. This helped me to reach 150fsb on my a7v133

10.5*32= 1386Mhz... i'm sure your chip can get higher than that. And if your ram is PC133, even if its generic, it SHOULD be able to at least do 133 3-3-3 at the crappiest possible ram settings. ;) Make sure your ram settings are all the way down, and it wouldn't hurt to underclock your CPU just to make sure you're only testing the FSB cababilities of the mobo.

it will do 11x132 but not even 8x133. i'm taking the memory back to the seller and GETTING not requesting a replacement and some form of compensation.:disgust:

I bought generic PC133 memory and the SPD tag on it read PC100 CAS3 so I sent it back, got even worse memory back and sent it back and then just bought my memory from crucial. You can check the tag in sisoft sandra in the mainboard section and see what it is rated at by the manufacturer not the reseller.

It is more common than people think for a reseller to re-mark ram. I had some pc133 modules that actually were reported as pc100 by several programs.
