you just plug it in and windows should recongnize it. you can partition it anyway you want. if you ever install windows on it you may need a drivers disk with sata drivers
You could make a duct from the current intake fan to the cpu, or you could buy one of the numerous 5.25 in. bay coolers. They usually come with eithe r2 or 3 60mm fans.
it takes sdram so all you do is put it in and you're good to go.
For the hard drives i would use the 80gb for the os install and put everything else, including the paging file, on the other hard drive.
