What about VPN isn't working? I use VPN at home and work on this router with no problems (built in Windows VPN on XP.)

I'm not following why VPN doesn't work on router as well. Be sure that the IP you're connceting to isn't close to what you have your home network set to. I can't remember what my cable modem defaulted to but I had to change it to 192.168.0.1 before I could connect properly.
