They changed my order
What I would like to know is if this is actually the following then:
BA20768 -BA20678 - - 1 (*Free T-shirt w/Purchase While Supplies Last!)
AMD ATHLON 64 3000+ RETAIL BOXED 64-BIT SOCKET 939 W/COOLING FAN (3 YEARS WARRANTY)**FREE AMD T-SHIRT**; NO EXTRA...
Based on other sites info I am going to guesstimate that this chip is the following: ADA3500AWBOX
MWAVE's BA20768
AMD ATHLON 64 3500+ 512K CACHE 64-BIT 939PIN RETAIL
Which means it is 130nMeter chip. The 90nM version of this chip runs a bit faster(1-7%) and 1-5 celsius cooler the the...
SUCCESS!!
I went to a local CC (21st So.) here in the Salt Lake Valley (UT) and purchased a WD 160GB that had a WD200JB in it.
I tried to have them pricematch to the Sam's Club price of $148.99 and they said no because it was a member ship club...... :(
However, after I got back I decided to...
2 of the 3 stores in SLC, UT are all 160GB didn't check the Sandy one.
Oh and sandmanwake, you either have to parition in smaller drives, use the provided card which will update XP, or you must be using Service Pack 1 with XP.
With 10 scsi drive you would be better off with something that can handle that much amperage draw on the 12 volt line- since most high performace drives can draw 2amps each. Thats 20amps for the drives if they were all running at once. You add the draw from a AMD or Intel chip thats another...

Most of us that utilized this ad did so with some dishonesty involved. Why did we leave out the info of where this ad was taking place when we did our PM's? I believe it was because that if your local CC, BB or even CUSA would have known...

Me: "Do you pricematch CompUSA?"
Rep: "As long as the ad is current and its the same product."
Me: I pulled out the ad and...
BEWARE!!
Powercolor has some misleading product models.
For instance in the 9600 Pro series they have a version called the EZ. Its got the core of the pro version but the memory of the non-pro, 200x2 instead of 300x2. Instead of benching at 10500-11500 in 3dmark2001 it benches in the 8100...
The Lowes markdown is of a lesser model - a 28xx something. It was 2 speed (not variable) and many of the options were not included such as the $25 flexshaft...etc.
By the way, these look to be the 80GB per platter drives, which makes them pretty fast.
59.2 MB/sec Begin Read & 33.7 MB/sec End Read
Plus the audio levels are only 41.0 dB/A@0.7" so its very quiet too!
I guess the way you can tell - according to here. The read/write heads amount can be...
