Performance PCs has brand-new OEM 80mm and 92mm fans from various manufacturers (Antec & Enermax mostly). These are brand new pulls from power supplies.

80mm Fans - $0.49
92mm Fans - $0.99

These fans do not have tails. They have 2-4" of cut wire from the fan motor. All you have to do is solder, twist or crimp new tails & connectors onto them.

the cust service of this place is amazing. i ordered 12" ccfl extention cables about a week ago and within five minutes got a personal email (not automated) apologizing that they had just sold the last one earlier in the day and that he would check on getting them back in stock. i replied, and he quickly replied again. he then sent me an email at around 9:30pm his time updating me on the status. when they finally decided it would be a long time before getting them back in stock he cancelled my order and said hed update me when they were back in stock and give me a deal on them. needless to say i was blown away.

Thats actually useful for the following situations:

1. Your phone charger is the car type only
2. You have a camping air bed you need to inflate with the car adapter pump

hahahahah

I had an order ready to go, but they're creeping me out requiring sex, date of birth on their form.

Their account setup form and payment form doesn't appear to be encrypted. I don't see the https in the URL or the key icon.
Shipping for 6 fans was about $10.50 for me

UPS Ground shipping for 10 92 mm fans was $10.20, for 20 92 mm fans was $11.26. The calculator for Priority SHipping was returning an error.

Shipping kills this if you don't buy quite a few of them. I'll probably order a couple. The 80mm says sold out now though.

Hmm... This looks like an honest deal. Alternatively,

Nexfan sells $1-$2 sleeve and ball bearing with your choice of brand and connector, and Directron sells $0.39 bare leads 92mm fans, of which I have a huge repository.

Nexfan has $7 flat rate UPS Ground shipping, and Directron's shipping was high for me when I ordered, ~$10 of fans and stuff, ~$10 for shipping, and that was just for shipping to Texas.

80mm's sold out.

I guess I'm better off going to SVC and getting their $2.50 80mm lighted fans :)

If you're looking for cheap but nice 92mm fans check out Directron. These NMB fans are only $.39 apiece. NMB brand fans are high quality. I have ordered about 30 of them. Contrary to the description they are standard 92mm, they come with a wire grill connected with plastic rivets. They also come with strange power connectors but they can easily be modified to fit on a three pin motherboard type connector.

Sweet tips in here :) Any place to get cheap 120mm fans? Also, anybody seen deals on cases supporting multiple 120mm fans?

Lanyap, have you ordered those before? I have 4 panaflo 80mm L1A currently in my case and I want to replace them with 92mm fans. Are those fans quiet at all?

Why would you want to do that? Won't you have to hack your case to crap to make them fit?

The Directron NMB 92mm fans appear to be high speed and I would guestimate that they are 40+dba so they would be much louder than L1A's. My guess is that they were pulls from servers.

Good deal for fans but I for one like to know what the noise and cfm are before I buy.

I think the quietest fan to cfm ratio goes to Vantec Stealth fans for 80mm size. 21dBa at 27CFM which is better then Panaflo's 20dBa at 24cfm. As far as I can tell, Vantec Stealth's at 92mm just as quiet but not much difference in CFM compared to the 80mm. If they were only cheaper, I'd have my case full of them. Cheapest I've seen shipped was $7.50 per fan. I would go for them if they were $4 shipped per fan.
