And that's exactly the problem. OEMs won't pay.
Says who.
It's a normal R9 option. This time it just comes with a real CPU perf upgrade. Kind of the whole point.
What do you think AMD Rubin gaming laptops will use? Hawk? Strix?
AMD what
Latency isn't important for graphics.
We're talking CPUs here.
Zen2 is a skinny core with no way to hide memory latency. 4M L3 makes the issue worse.
Aren't you the one who said all that matters is 1T? 1T performance was crap. Do you have to try to disagree with everyone?
Meds.

Consoles are literally for gaming. You literally just days ago said that the only thing that matters was 1T. Do you want me to look it up? Take your damn meds.

Yeah.

Yeah, that's why they're getting Zen6.
Does not make their CPU/cache configs any less poverty.

Is reading hard for you? It's a solvable problem you know.

Is writing a problem for you? Zen 2 was the best thing available back then. With cut cache to save money. Big deal, worked out fine.

You say Zen 2 sucked but Jaguar was fine, also 1T is what matters. You are all over the place.

medusa premium (mini halo) is for whom actually ?
To me it seems like the most interesting part of the lineup actually. Balanced CPU and GPU, probably close in performance to the best selling laptops out there with a dgpu (rtx 4050-4060 range), plus no stupid VRAM segmentation/planned obsolescence.

If you want the best CPU performance it's not the right choice, if you want to have the best GPU you won't buy an APU anyway, but most people don't want or can't get any of those.

Hopefully they improved the inter-core latency that plagues Strix Point as well.
