Guys I had a great dream last night

Lisa Su told me we'll get:

• Medusa Halo with on-package memory
• Zen 6 Dual CCD X3D V-cache with MR-DIMM support
• RDNA4 Discrete GPU with 96 GB VRAM for < $3,000

Naw, maybe if Zen9 further bifurcates the decoder to 4x4 way (which is unlikely to be in Zen7 IMHO), but I honestly don't see them ever going SMT4 no matter what they do with the µArch elsewise.

Hey, if he dreams it, MLID will read about it, then AMD will act on it. Don't kill the dream!

My dream is AMD will one-up Intel's socket LGA1954 4-generation lifetime and stay on AM6 with Zen 7 through 11.

Hygon is making the 128C/512T CPU which is based on AMD Zen tech. If AMD engineers were involved in the required architecture modifications (maybe to test it out) of that CPU design, then it's a very real possibility that AMD may bring it to their Epyc line at some point.

ADL/RPL can be called new gen RPL was more uplift than Zen5 was over Zen4. RPL+ is not a new gen and ARL is a decent gen it fixes the power issue with RPL.

Now for the next gen
Nova Lake is brand new gen and decent upgrade in all aspect
Razer is a good improvement over Nova
Titan is supposed to be using Unified Core so this could be a home run
