Woah. That's an impressive score for a 5800X3D! Not that far behind a 7800X3D.
I'll try to run it tonight on my 5800X3d desktop as well. I just happened to get a RTX 4090 (temporarily) to slot in for that.

And all the RTX 4090 results so far seem to be 1080p. @Det0x post makes me think, even 4090 might be slightly faster @ 720p:

With some further tweaking i also managed to break 51k, but to my surprise, i still seem to be GPU limited even at 1080p lowest settings, on a tuned watercooled 3090
(saw nice scaling with +30mhz GFX core)

I have been musing for a while now that Arrow Lake was going to be caught DOA from a gaming standpoint by the pending X3D launch.

Still, this isn't where the majority of CPU's are sold or even where the majority of profit is. The laptop non-thin and light is the biggest market and the data center is the highest profit.

With the release of Turin and Turin Dense, AMD have wrapped up the DC for the next year. I am only looking to see how Arrow Lake fares in the desktop replacement laptop market. They could still have a winner on their hands there as we already have the numbers for Zen 5 there (except for the potential Strix Halo)

So the 9800X3D result here is massively tuned, obviously (BCLK, PBO, CS, BO, etc.). I have to wonder about the memory and longevity stability of such a setup. In other words, for those that dont know, dont expect this perf out of a stock or even mildly tuned 9800X3D. Seems like you'd have to knock off about 10% or so for that.

this is fairly tuned 7800x3d + 4090, -20 co, 8000c34 2x24gb. scored over 30k in Port Royal just before running this bench so about the most I've been able to squeeze out of this hardware combo. fresh install of 24h2 latest LCU. i think i matched the settings? just chose 1280x720 for resolution and only changed first drop down in graphics settings to the standard (laptop) preset, didn't touch anything else. that 9800x3d score is a 28.8% improvement, so like spot on to the other comparables (cb23 mt is 28.9% higher than my best, cheesed 7800x3d score of 19594 at -40 CO) . This is actually insane
