Nah, maybe in 10 years on PS7
You reckon they will skip it and just call it PlayStation U?There probably won't be a PS7.
There will be a ps7. It’s Sonys bread and butter.There probably won't be a PS7.
Let’s get to the PS6 first 😂There will be a ps7. It’s Sonys bread and butter.
It'd be pretty funny if it turned out the 9950X3D2 didn't exist after all . . . though it would also be disappointing.Looks like no imminent support for the 9950X3D2.
Given the general consensus on how little it will affect performance, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if it's a hoax.
40% pricier for maybe a 5% (max, and that's a stretch) improvement in performance. Meh.As I said, there's a legit reason to do this, since the expecation is that all DIY sales should plummet because of the RAM prices. This is a novelty to sell to people who won't care about spending the extra dough.
DIY sales only? Do you expect Dell, etc to not have issues? As I said, there's a legit reason to do this, since the expecation is that all DIY sales should plummet because of the RAM prices. This is a novelty to sell to people who won't care about spending the extra dough.

Can confirm, I am likely going to upgrade my 7950X at some point. Next chip will need to be X3D, however. Waiting to see if the mythical X3D2 launches.Whole system replacements may slow down, but CPU only upgrades (from Zen 4) should be a thing.
And the 9850x3d / 9950x3d2 make the those CPU only upgrades extra appealing to owners of lower end Zen 4 CPUs. Those customers pretty much all have DDR5-6000, which is still just fine.
