hahaha, men in black will be round soon![]()
It's not safe for him now that he's been outed as one of MLID's super reliable sources. He has not posted for a minute. Wonder if Lisa's goon squad has snatched him already.
Cheese said that both Mire Clark and Mahesh Subramony confirmed that Zen 5 uses N4P.If it’s N4X that’s even better, as it’s meant for extreme performance and no wonder AMD is able clock highly so easily.
One could say N4X is better than N3B for desktop.
Wow. Mr. Moostache is talking about my graph!
Not exactly. Hardwareluxx (Andreas Schilling) wrote "N4P and N4X".
PS:Andreas Schilling said:The new CCD is supposed to be [manufactured in] "TSMC 4nm FinFET" — at the tech day, N4P and N4X have been mentioned specifically.
broQen siliQon, amiriteMLIDs Video today is one of the best ones ever...
You will tell your grandchildren that you were there, 3000 years ago, and witnessed Igors ascension to interwebz fame first hand 😁
Huh, this is actually quite interesting![]()
AMD's tweaked RDNA 3.5 GPU is solely focused on improving mobile gaming performance
There are plenty of little changes under the hood to help the graphics processor do more for less power.www.pcgamer.com
That's very interesting (emphasis mine).
Cross pollination of technologies between smartphone and PC!
8000/2133, unsure about timings. My config is 6400CL30 tuned 2133 fclk
So curve shaper will work for Zen 4 as well? Did you tinker with it?it has the new curve shaper setting as well.
1.2.0.0a has been out for two weeks on my gigabyte boards already, but I reverted back to 1.1.7.0 due to that windows 10 boot-loop issue when I was trying to benchmark. Lemme flash back to 1.2.0.0a and look.So curve shaper will work for Zen 4 as well? Did you tinker with it?
Why ? It will be litteraly 50% faster then your 5950x that you paid the same amount. Calculate for inflation and its cheaper. This will last you another 4 years.Slow day. So now theres that "leak" of a "retailer" posting up 9600X $295 pricing. I have this feeling AMD is going to disappoint on launch pricing even though all the stars are aligned for them to make a real statement. If what we end up with is $299, $399, $549, and $649, thats going to be a huge disappointment, IMO.
Sure, but you have to compare it with current Ryzen 7000 prices. I have no doubt many will do that and be disappointed when considering the (apparently) rather small performance increase. Why ? Because I can buy a 7950X3D for only $459 brand new right now at Amazon is why. Way too big of a pricing gap for the +16% ST/MT and -5% gaming. Same goes for 7700X / 7800X3D vs 9700X. With Arrow Lake looming, I dont think its wise. Why ? It will be litteraly 50% faster then your 5950x that you paid the same amount. Calculate for inflation and its cheaper. He's too busy for games.@igor_kavinski can the leaker follow the instructions for any of these benchmarks here and post the score?
Then wait 1-2 months for AMdiscount it always happens. Also we dont know the gaming performance yet.Because I can buy a 7950X3D for only $459 brand new right now at Amazon is why.
