My bad, it was a bit of a threadjack anyway. I have heard such arguments made here and probably went off on a bit of a tangent. Carter made mistakes but it is annoying when people blame him for that particular situation.

That is downright CREEPY, so strange how the Onion can be more real then the "real" news.

My one sentence that I feel summarizes his presidency.

I am less proud to be an American than I was 8 years ago....

In no way am I stating that I agree or disagree with either of their decisions, but Bush at least made decisive decisions...

The same was true of Hitler for the same reasons. WTF good are "decisive decisions" when they're piss poor wrong... and oh yeah.. FUCKING CRIMINAL?

George W. Bush and his gang of traitors, murderers, torturers. war criminals, war profiteers and total incompetents should be tried and convicted for their crimes. :|

Oh but Hitler was also smart, charming, and charismatic... the majority of the population dranked his Cool-Aid much like what they are doing with Obama...

Bush single sentence summary: Don't fuxorz with me because I am tired of connecting teh dots~!

"You remember what it was like after 9-11 around here?" he asked. "People were saying, 'How come they didn't see it? How come they didn't connect the dots?' "

Then, when new measures were put in place, Bush complained, people turned around and "were saying, 'How come you're connecting the dots?' ''

The only answer is American vigilance to keep our elected leadership in line. We have to stop relying on others to do our own thinking. The trick is how do you do oversight functions without becomming corrupt yourself. In a nutshell our representatives need to be flushed out of office from time to time. And, all of our policies need to be questioned as well.

Second sentence - THAT LAME PIECE OF SHIT SHOULD ROT IN THE WORST FUCKING HELL OF HIS OWN PERVERSE, FEEBLE IMAGINATION! :|

i think you're being too nice too the guy.

it's ironic that Bush' grandpa transgressed against the Jewish people, by
acting as a primary lender. as documented at
http://www.tarpley.net/bushb.htm

"George Bush, the Un-authorized Biography" ... chapter 2, bank managed
by Prescott Bush seized in 1942 ... for loaning money to Hitler during the war,
under the "Trading with the Enemy Act".

pretty hard to deny the existence of a vesting order signed by FDR.

then, 2 generations later, Bush serves as Israel's water-carrier, implementing
a foreign policy - the War on Terror (Muslims) - which Israel wholeheartedly
supports.

as Netanyahu stated on September 14, 2001, "all Americans are Israeli's now".

I got a promotion and a fat bonus and just got back from a EU vacation. Some people aren't as successful and blame the presidency but I think he's done a terrific job overall. I thank Bush and his team for doing a splendid job on easing the latent instability of this economy and completely demoralizing the terrorists from destroying our freedom and liberty.

Is this parody? It sounds like something a "security mom" would say. Are you really constantly in fear of terrorists who want to destroy "our freedom and liberty?" If anything, heavy handed big government policies and illegal wire tapping have taken more freedom and liberty from Americans than bin Laden ever could. Are the Islamic hordes really going to invade America?

And to say Bush has done a "splendid job" regarding the economy is laughable. Not that Congress, any federal agency, or private industry has done any better.

Woeful president only exceeded by FDR, a traitorous cripple who interned over 100,000 of his own citizens without a moments thought.

If Bush/Cheney were politicians in any other country, they'd be tried on war crimes and human rights violations.

This is absolutely true and Osama Bin Laden will be hailed as a national hero! Hamas as the saints and sacrificial lambs for the liberation of Palestine. Iran and the rest of the Middle East as countries of peace while the USA is the country of everlasting sin!

Now are you feeling better? If yes, then it's time to wake up and smell reality! If no, then you are FUBAR! Go see a head doctor.

Torture is a war crime and a human rights violation you moron. Bush and Cheney are guilty of setting up torture facilities and sending prisoners (including noncombatants) to be tortured. WTF is wrong with you?

Funny thing is all you bleeding heart Libs were like why didn't you do more to prevent 9/11 and then he waterboards known killers for information and you admonish him for it.

Cannot have your cake and eat it too.

I actually respect GWB for making life uncomfortable for those pigs. Blindly giving terrorists rights they don't deserve to be better than the next guy is a pussies guide to keeping this nation world safe. Just ask the widows and kids who will never see their daddies/husbands again due to these bastards and see what they have to say about someones rights getting violated.

Don't get me wrong i didn't vote for McCain, and i am glad to see Bush go. But to say GWB didn't do anything to protect our country is silly.

For Me I want the governmet to keep the peace and stay outta my shit. I don't want fairness, I want what is mine and I want for you whatever you earn to be yours.

This is what happens when an ordinary man leads a nation through extraordinary circumstances.
