I doubt Republicans will elect her to anything. She did her damage while winning an election on the Dem ticket.

Tell me why after breaking her oath of office to obey STATE and FEDERAL LAWS, she was allowed to return to her position instead of getting removed from office and a replacement selected to fill her term of office?

I believe she was elected which means getting rid of her and getting a replacement isn't as easy as replacing a bad employee.

It's laughable how sea bray and taj are trying to say she's a dem, like her stance against LGBT marriage is somehow a commonly held view among dems, and not cons

I believe it would have required action by the GOP controlled state legislature which wasn't going to do a damn thing since they were opposed to gay marriage as well and viewed not providing a government service to their fellow citizens as a religious rights issue.

Okay, a short history of Kentucky politics. Prior to the mid 1980s, Kentucky was a one party state and that party was the Democrats. There were liberal Democrats, conservative Democrats, cross-burning Democrats, probably a handful of Maoist Democrats in the mix but they were all Democrats. Republicans were those weird goofy folks handing out pamphlets at the county fair. Region, county, family, and political clans were far more important than party, since they were all Democrats. But times changed. The Reagan revolution came to Kentucky right on schedule, twenty years later than anywhere else. The Democratic Party's hold on power was broken and the right wing Dems (and there were a lot of them in Kentucky) became Republicans while the liberals flocked to Gatewood Galbraith and then sort of wandered off. Kim Davis was a bit slower than most to jump parties, that's all.

Just give it up guys. If it makes him feel better because he gets to blame a DEM for this lady, then so be it.
Moving her to the GOP shows her true side....moving her out of office, regardless of party is the goal.
As a KY taxpayer, it pisses me off that the state is responsible for the attorney fees. It should be her personally since she didn't follow her duty.

I'm an independent and I would slam her no matter the side and already did (when she was a dem and now a gop), many times.

She is not on any ticket now. She's not even up for re-election until next yr. Let's see if she evens runs.
