lol yeah i work with some pretty LOWWWW tech-savvy people and half of them have a webcam of some sort....dont think they are JUST now realizing they can video-chat somehow.
 
I understand your rage OP. When I watch TV, I feel like I'm being called an idiot by 90% of the commercials out there. What scares me is that it actually works.
 
Back after we bought an HP PC we would get junk mail from HP. Glossy brochures filled with pictures of people doing stuff with HP stuff. Really weird people, like Stepford Families preaching about Rev Moon in the magic kingdom while chasing down LSD with prozac. It creeped us out to the point we didn't buy HP anymore.

I don't mind apple products but their marketing is too cutesy for me.

What's so idiotic about the commercial isn't the message. It's that a joyous moment like that should be shared in person, NOT over the phone even if it's video.
