While I have little interest in this due to it firstly being the Olympics and secondly it not involving the US. The little I have heard it she is not an XY but a generic woman with ovaries that behave more like testicles as in she produces (far?) more testosterone than a typical woman.
Again I have little interest in this matter I can easily be wrong.
I do have to wonder if that should bar her from competing.
I tend to agree that anyone who is any good at a sport should be barred from competing in it. Then I might stand a chance.
I've said it before, but I still think the whole row is just a reflection of the reality that the whole basis of competitive sport is incoherent and arbitrary in the first place. You're never going to make it completely "fair" because none of it really makes sense when it comes down to it.
