This girl was comfortable enough with you to tell you the truth.
Do not make her regret that decision.

I don't encourage my friends (male/female) to date people whose sexual history is exponentially bigger than theirs. I say stick to people that appeal to your sensibilities. If you can't even look at her right, you can't respect her. If you don't respect her, it's not fair - to the both of you. Find someone more like you, that's all I can say.
DATE DATE DATE!!!!!!! Everyone that posts YAGT's please just DATE, do not have girlfriends because if you have to get advice from geeks on the internet all day, you certainly are not ready for a girlfriend.
I'm sorry that you're that insecure about yourself. Really I am. I hope you one day discover that women aren't objects and hopefully can find someone respectable enough to settle down with that won't leave you when she's sick of your d*ck.

short of AIDs, there's a cure (antibiotics) for most STDs. Just wrap it and go for #13.

Are you sure you are still a guy?? There are very very few instances where that word should be uttered by a man. A 3 week relationship surprise is NOT one of them.my heart feels like it's been ripped out

So last night I was out with the girl I've been seeing for about 2-3 weeks and she was rather.. open with me about her prior sexual partners (she was pretty blitzed). She came out and told me that she's been with 12 guys in 2 years. I was pretty nonchalant about it given my state of mind but today it kinda hit me and I'm appalled. She's kind of avoiding me it seems too... Thing is, I really like this girl and I've hit it off better with her than with anyone in my life.
I don't know what to do... my heart feels like it's been ripped out. I doubt I could find someone with a better personality but at the same time, I don't know if I can even look at her the same way anymore.

WTF how can you feel that your heart has been ripped out after only going out with her for a couple weeks??? So she has sex with people, you should too. You're the one that should be bragging about your sexual conquests and making the girl feel bad not the other way around. I swear, all these YAGT's really reinforce all those stereotypes of geeks and women.
Yeah, God forbid you actually have morals.
morals are just excuses
So basically, your imposing YOUR lifestyle on him?
I guess respecting other people's morals is not too high on some people's scales.

what about herpes?
Originally posted by: eleison
Most people already have it. And if you don't, the odds are you will by the time you are 40. Actually, herpes were so prevalent that most STD test don't include them. Just ask any doctor..
In addition, must people with herpes don't even have symptons.. a lot of people have it and don't even know about it...

Wow. I never thought about it that way. You should become a youth counselor.
