I don't encourage my friends (male/female) to date people whose sexual history is exponentially bigger than theirs. I say stick to people that appeal to your sensibilities. If you can't even look at her right, you can't respect her. If you don't respect her, it's not fair - to the both of you. Find someone more like you, that's all I can say.

STDs don't disappear just because someone chooses to ignore the past. Anyone that has been with that many people has a very high chance of carrying some form of herpes.

The man is right. Every YAGT on here is about "getting the girl." Some of you need to sit back and date, instead of going all in.
If this person had sex with numerous partners and didn't contract a STD, is her past clean then? You can get an STD from being with one person. Is that person that was with only one partner and contracted the STD better then the person that was with multiple people and didn't contract a STD?

When you say character, do you mean a particular definition of what character should be?
People are different... they think different things are ok. some ppl want to remain chaste until marriage. Other ppl think that whatever goes on between two consenting adults is fine, as long as no one is getting hurt.
It is up to each person to decide what is considered moral and good character, then endeavor to live by it. I dont think it is right for anyone to impose their definitions of moral and good character, where sex is concerned, on anyone outside their household.
If the OP thinks that 12 in 2 years is too much, then he needs to be with someone else. that does not make this girl horrible, it just makes her incompatible for the OP.
Personally, i think 12 in 2 years is a lot. However, if she is happy with it ...

I find people who say that so pathetic. It's so hypocritical because you know they still judge plenty of people. It's so obviously a cry for absolution for themselves. What is considered the past? Two days? Two years? You see, people's actions and words, which are by definition always in the past, are all we have to judge them by. Whatever makes people do good or bad things or smart or stupid things is usually caused by a deep-seeded characteristic that will, over the course of their life, manifest itself innumerable times.

I've been with 12 girls in the past 4 years. I have no STD's (recently checked) and I'm never out looking to score all the time (AKA be a whore).
