Not that i'm worried about what they will find but if the goverment does it once, What is stopping them from doing it again.

And Bush and republicans could decide to not spend millions of dollars trying to get it back again, yet here they are with more actions and now court actions against google trying to force them to hand it over.

Geeze, get over clinton. He has not been in office for 5+ years now, this is now bushs and republicans baby, and they are not letting it drop.

Clinton had ultimate veto power.

No matter what administration was responsible for the original legislation, the Supreme Court struck the law down and gave specific instructions on how to change it to make it constitutional. The Bush (not Clinton) administration has decided to attempt to re-try the settled case instead of making the required changes to the law.

The Gov. is asking for records made by the public(millions of people use google every day) I dont see what the problem is. All of you whining about the Gov violating privacy acts and everything probably havent taken into consideration the Corporations that easily contain data more personal much like this at the cost of a very handsome price.
