Him fvcking up school sports and relationships - not worth suicide though. I'm positive he must have had some other issues no one knew about..

This seems odd to me. None of them wanted to go down there? If you thought someone you loved might had tried to shoot themselves, wouldn't the first instinct be to run to that person as fast as you could (with the phone in one hand calling 911)..?

Yes, but when its the real thing you arent exactly thinking things through, you would still be in a state of shock.

atybimf, I went through the same thing this past summer. A good friend of my sister and I hung himself in the middle of the night. There was no warning, no outward sign of a problem. He was 25 I believe. He had a wonderful life, and a great future. It made it really hard for his best friend, who he had grilled some steaks with a few nights before.

My prayers are with Dylan, his family, and with you.

This reminds me of my 13 yr old cousin who killed himself around 5 years ago. Nobody really knows why. It was my grandpa that found him. He has a unique way of ending it though. He crawled into the oven, wired the door shut, and turned it on. The most puzzling part of it was the fact that there were tons of guns around and instead of using them, he chose to literally cook himself. He had to be identified using dental records because he was so badly burned. It was shocking, but nobody other than his mother and my grandpa were really shocked. The rest of us kind of always figured that he would end up in prison or something like this would happen.

Sorry to hear about your friend. Just keep in mind that even though its shocking now, time heals all wounds.

Wow that is weird. Yes, time does heal wounds. I'm doing much better than the past two days.

Bullshit.

I've felt that way at times. I don't know you obviously but I want to say I'm so sorry.
It's a tragedy that never ends for the people it affects.
I hope someday you will be able to handle the pain.

Flipped out. Called the neighbors (my other friend) and had them come over. She was in major shock.

Wow. That kinda reminds me of a photo I saw on rotten.com of some guy who commited suicide by cutting himself in half with a band saw. Isn't it crazy how some people choose to kill themselves?
