Yeah the sad part is, whatever it was that he thought was so horrible would be trivial to him in just a few months or years. WTF could possibly be so fvcked up in the life of a young man that age to warrant suicide

Hell I was really messed up as a teenager, in trouble with the law, couldn't get a date, no friends, etc..., etc..., etc... And I grew up to have a nice life with a great professional career, loving family, nice home etc...

For some, the reasoning is quite the opposite.

It doesnt' take much to go on living. But to take your life into your own hands, to make a decision that you don't want to live anymore, and to finally pull the trigger is not as easy as one thinks.

I almost committed suicide myself in 8th grade. The attempt almost happend, I had all the materials lined up and started to use them, but its a lot easier to think about than to do it. But I had recently moved, and the culture shock was such that I had literally no friends. Coming from a great social life at that age was depressing as hell. It was the equivalent of 8 months of solitary confinement (we moved back). In retrospect it was one of the stupidest things I could have done at the time. (I DID get my life back in HS) From what I can tell, that kid had no reasonable cause, but there's proably something we don't know. I know from said experiance that its easy to justify killing yourself. You just have to defy nature to do it.

WTF? Sexuality "issues" cause a tremendous amount of people to commit suicide. One of my next door neighbors committed suicide; I later heard that he had written a letter before he killed himself, and his sexuality had been a factor.

Most have been horrible for the mom to go down there. My thought are with the family and the rest of his friends. I also would like to know what pushed him to end it that way.
