i think i'd react that way for my family, but i don't know about a stranger

it is like the thread last week where the AT guy pulled a stranger from a burning car, we all won't know for sure how we'll act until it happens

Has there been a presidential candidate elected in the last fifty years who would have hesitated to shoot someone if they thought it would have improved their odds of election?

I think I would not exactly to save the president because in general it is bad for the american people if one dies, like dick cheney going into office. (might look good to the man upstairs too;) )
