If it was my job I would. If it wasn't my job but I still liked the Pres as a CINC and a person I might.

I could see myself on a PSD (personal security detail) team and would have no problems taking a bullet for whomever my boss would be. Lots of my coworkers have been on PSD teams for many colonels and generals over several deployments and have lots of stories about doing it.

One guy had a vehicle breakdown in downtown Kabul, Afghanistan. Boss jumped into another humvee and left the one soldier alone with a humvee to be recovered by someone else. Pat on the back, good luck! Luckily nothing happened. Btw, it wasn't the Boss's decision to leave him, thats just standard practice.

it actually really depend on who that person is that im taking the bullet for...
if it is someone being really good to my life.. then yea..

president ... nah

i would probably do it for anyone. tough to say given adrenaline and all that.
