I love WMP9. It's all I use for music and videos. The media library kicks ass.
Media Library? Useless.
MP3 share\artist\album\song
Add/subtract items by directory, use a few separate playlists, and you're all set for using any app; WMP, XMMS, Winamp 2/3, Fubar, etc.. Media library is a feature that lets you easily bloat everything and have files scattered wherever, so when you format you lose half of them. An extra 5-10 seconds per file (or album) saves all of that.
um...I have everything nice and organized outside of media library; a directory on my server where WMP rips WMA to (yes I use WMA

), organized by artist with album subdirectories. Multiple computers on the network use WMP Media Library monitoring tool to monitor the directory and update themselves automatically when new albums are added. Whenever I play music from any pc, it is nice and organized, with correct song names, artist info, album info, and album cover art...with little to no work on my part, except for inserting a CD and walking away.
