Heh, the town my grandmother lived in was unincorporated, a tiny little place, and it had a bar.
In true WI fashion, the other business was a cheese factory.
What, no Culver's?

No restaurants whatsoever 😉What, no Culver's?
I lol'd like I haven't in a while...thank you for that. 😀Vanilla Isis has no idea what living in such places is like
Unfortunately, I cannot take credit for that moniker - saw it in some memesI lol'd like I haven't in a while...thank you for that. 😀
Scott WalkerCan you explain what happened?
Fun fact some bars added a bowling alley to their facilities during prohibition so they could stay open as a bowling alley while serving liquor and beer under the table.Did the bar have a one lane bowling alley as well?
Scott Walker
A little bit OT but were abouts? I live in Central Illinois and have most of my life, just east of Peoria in a small town. BTW I love those Friday night catfish frys at the local places although I wouldn't call them fancy....Downstate IL is no different than much of rural WI. Widespot in the road, unincorporated "town". At least one bar. Maybe two, and the fancy one has catfish dinners on Fridays.
I grew up in a town of 1800 people in central IL. 4 bars.
No doubt he helped but I’m talking more about the people and how they became to let someone like Scott Walker destroy their rationality.
Interesting when a Supreme Court somewhere can order people to die that have committed no crime.
Next you're going to tell me that randos in a WI bar are actually poor judges of risk when it comes to disease transmission.
Wisconsin is truly turning into the Florida of the Midwest. I'm old enough to remember when so much of the state wasn't just batshit.
I guess you could argue it's too soon just yet for the people who have been and will be unnecessarily infected to have already died.It is interesting. But it hasn't happened.

Allowing people to take risks is not a condemnation to death. That's ridiculous.
You act like people have a choice in taking those risks. For many, it becomes a Hobson choice: what do you do when it's unsafe and your employer tells you to come in? Refuse, get fired for cause and then get denied unemployment?Allowing people to take risks is not a condemnation to death. That's ridiculous.

The vast majority of people under 65 and healthy don't have anything to worry about. Get the rona, maybe feel crappy for a week, rinse and repeat. We shouldn't need a fucking government order. People should be smart enough to stay at home because its necessary to LIVE.
Since most Americans are fuckin stupid they need an order. And since so many Americans are REALLY fuckin stupid they pressured the supreme court to overrule the order and now they can all go on to dying in mass numbers.
Fuck em.
That's a pretty bizarre take on the situation, and not even the least bit accurate.Interesting when a Supreme Court somewhere can order people to die that have committed no crime.

Joe McCarthy - red scare joe. They once elected a senator that wore bow ties. You can't trust a man in a bow tie.
(Or was that Minnesota? whatever. same place)
wait about a month after this decision and see if cases and deaths spike. It is interesting. But it hasn't happened.
Way to dodge the point: many employees don't have a choice.Every day you step out your front door you're taking a risk. The odds of dying from C19 are comparable to the odds of dying in a car accident.
Wisconsin Death With Dignity Law specifically calls for physician assisted suicide, not death by Supreme Court Justices. There is nothing dignified about dying from a virus you didn't legally get cleared to catch. Think of the men who are going to bring the virus home and kill their pregnant wives along with the fetus, I mean the child.Allowing people to take risks is not a condemnation to death. That's ridiculous.
