I set the thermostat in my residence to 80-81 degrees while I'm at work. I came home yesterday, and it was 78 degrees in my abode, which felt pretty chilly even with my PJs on. Not looking forward to winter.

78 degrees feels chilly? Where the fuck do you live?

I keep my house at 73 and wish I could keep it lower, but the extra electric use doesn't justify it. I still have to sleep with the ceiling fan on full blast and only use a sheet.

Bra, I never go lower than 75 in the heat of summer unless I have several people coming over. I try not to turn it down to 75 until a little before bed or a little before my nightly bath. In my defense, I do sleep with a ceiling fan but only for the noise it makes.

Winter is the second best time of year, following the best time which is fall. Haven't looked, but it's probably 76 in my house, which is 20° warmer than the winter temp I set it at.

I'm not sure I've had a thermostat I could set lower than 65.

Gotta do my part. Maybe if I keep telling people they're fuckin' insane over their enthusiastic love of summer, some will see the light :^D

hvac is sort of a young man's game. You need to be willing to learn fast and work fast. And not be retarded.

not necessarily run around fast. I don't like when people move fast around me...people get hurt that way, way to many sharp and blunt objects to get yourself cut on or hit your head in this trade.

Fall is coming. I've stopped running fans. Mostly. I just open windows to keep temps in the 70s.

We'll be back in the mid-80s for next week though, after this week's taste of fall.
