business can refuse service to anyone, that's my stance.

i do belive that you are getting your bothsides mixed up. the people who said you cant refuse service to the gay couple are the ones saying you can refuse service to the maga hat.

the libertarians just say you can refuse service to both because its your business. and they can refuse to use your business, and their friends. the market fixes the problem when the cake place down the street takes all the business because they are not idiots refusing service to people.

Freedom of speech. Freedom to support the candidate we choose to. Fuck the communists and anyone that threatens our freedom.
How are these 'communists' threatening your freedom by exercising their own free speech?

In a swing back to the 50's, some, including current congress members are calling for a list of trump supporters to be made so that they may be denied economic opportunities.

when do we start our list? does it get a sticky? do we deny them coolcoin?

or is it kept in the mods corner of old's basement?
Your victim card is showing.

Fuck these communists.
Fucktard, as always.

This is a lot of childish stupid in one post!
a) being a MAGA moron is a choice. Being gay (or black) is not. Denying service based on something people can't change is a tad more troublesome dont' you think? (Not to mention that politics is something you can hide, skin color at least is a bit harder).
b) Libertarians is of course infantile. Running a limited liability business is a privillige offered by government, therefore you follow the rules. "Go to a different business" doesn't work if the everyone in the majority refuse to serve a minority! Which somehow often seems to be the case! If there are zero gay bakers or black lunch counters then what do you do?? (Just start your own? And no banks will offer a loan to black people, and no landlords will rent to black people, and no suppliers will work with... You get the idea.)

Great, when do we start singling out Twitter and Facebook executives and employees

Organize whatever boycott you want. That's the wonderful thing about freedom. You can boycott whatever the fuck you want.

Why is it the very party that has spent decades boycotting every little fucking thing that offends them politically or religiously suddenly is a victim when they themselves are boycotted?

Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should do something.

If you want to continue to draw the line for a civil war, well... it does seem rather inevitable anyway. So I suppose there is technically no harm done. Despite the fact that there will be a TON of harm done in signaling out half the nation and declaring that we shall no longer coexist peacefully. Truth be told they'll probably be happy in doing the same to you.

i just wonder if you appreciate what it is you stand for.

The projection is hilarious. You act like "the left" is the cause of it all. Yes, it's all about those damn socialist communists triggering the poor victim rethuglicons...

As if the right hasn't already done this? Like it fucking matters what the left does, or how "fair" they play the game? Nope. Such bullshit.

You are like Mitch McConnell claiming obstruction from the Democrats...it's laughable.

So people exercising their own freedoms by choosing where or where not to spend their own hard-earned monies are going to be the cause of the next civil war?

I actually have cut several people who supported the Dumpster out of my life completely ... I do however still shop at Home-depot for example.

Provided violence isn't part of the "solution" I have zero problems with anyone's PRIVATE boycott-list.

The very moment they no longer have that safe feeling their would be dictator provided them, they start clutching their pillows and looking under the bed for monsters again. What doesn't scare you spineless jellyfish? Your brains are so full of fuck that you cannot logically and critically evaluate information anymore. It is all preprogrammed slogans, jeers, and knee jerk reactions out of irrational fear.

Socialized healthcare for all, higher taxes on the rich, and a concerted effort to mitigate the impacts of climate change are not going to ruin your lives. They are far more likely, in fact, to save them.

Boycotts are often ineffective or have unintended consequences, and blacklisting people is no different than McCarthyism. Ideologues from both parties like to play the boycott game, and yet Hobby Lobby and Chik-fil-A somehow manage to survive.

I don't know what all these replies are doing in here.
I got to the part where it said, "some......

just another " some have said" or " a lot of people are saying".

if you quit responding to this kind of shit it goes away :)

May I invite you to read the text of the boycott again?

Why the fuck do you people keep arguing against a strawman here???

"We should welcome in our fellow Americans with whom we differ politically.

But those who took a paycheck from the Trump Administration should not profit from their efforts to tear our democracy apart. The world should never forget those who, when faced with a decision, chose to put their money, their time, and their reputations behind separating children from their families, encouraging racism and anti-Semitism, and negligently causing the unnecessary loss of life and economic devastation from our country's failed response to the COVID-19 pandemic."

Says the guy who reps the party who has boycotted everything from Disney to Nike.

OK.
