How may I simplify the comment for you to understand? That doesn't even make sense.

Says the person that's so ate up with anger.ahh the good old "Who, me???" defense.
another non-illuminating comment.![]()
I am not. My comments go to the crux of the issue with those unhappy with the results of this presidential election. You know we are not a Democracy. We have a process outlined in the Constitution on how a President will be elected. Many think we should have a democracy. Others do not. For those unhappy with our process, we have a method of change and that is also outlined in our Constitution.Yes because when Americans talk about 'the majority' they are referring to the 538 members of the electoral college.
Don't be deliberately dense. The majority voted for Clinton and it wasn't close.
Yes, it comes across so clearly in your posts.lol, ok.
What if they look at states won or Electorial College votes? It's hard to claim a mandate while losing the popular vote by almost 3 million votes and a 43 percent approval rating .
anger? no, more like intense disgust and disappointment. but continue.Yes, it comes across so clearly in your posts.

There is only one majority that matters under our Constitutionally defined Presidential election system. Is there something about that you do not understand? The Majority is a simple concept that you don't seem to understand.

Don't forget, less than one hundred thousand votes in three states gave him the win. Claims of mandate not found. It's hard to claim a mandate while losing the popular vote by almost 3 million votes and a 43 percent approval rating .
A lot of the right also hate Trump, you know?
What if they look at states won or Electorial College votes?
LMAO!!! Like Trump isn't going to believe he has a mandate due to number of states won and/or EC votes.Don't forget, less than one hundred thousand votes in three states gave him the win. Claims of mandate not found.

He represents the people. The right has nothing to do with how the Electorial College is set up.Does the president represent land, 270+ people out of a pool of 538, or the American people?
The entire point of what I said is to get at how the right has continually been working to extract maximum advantage from various ways in which the process in this country is not democratic.
This country is not a democracy. High School civics. It is a representative republic.Does the president represent land, 270+ people out of a pool of 538, or the American people?

Electoral vote total was also historically low as well.LMAO!!! Like Trump isn't going to believe he has a mandate due to number of states won and/or EC votes.

but he won bigly...Electoral vote total was also historically low as well.
Yep. And a lot still voted for him because they despised Hillary even more.
If the majority of votes mattered to anybody except butt hurt lefties, than Trump would have won those too. If approval ratings mattered to anyone except butt hurt lefties than Trump would win those too, but they don't.It's hard to claim a mandate while losing the popular vote by almost 3 million votes and a 43 percent approval rating .
