That's easy for whitie to say. Our nation has been desegregated for about 40 years of the 231 years our country has existed; and black slavery was around for ages before that. What II want to know is why we have Martin Luther King day. There is not one other holiday named after an individual person. Personally, I would think the first President of this country is more important than MLK and yet he is lumped with all other President's in one single day. Recockulous.

Nope, that's wrong. If there was enough movement in the white community to get a white history month, I'm sure no one would care (just as you don't care about black history month).

Besides I'm not sure dividing people into races for any reason is a good idea. Same concept with these MOBO (music of black origin) awards we have over here.
