Red car ALWAYS has right of way. Always.

-edit-
That's one of the rules of a roundabout.

In a traffic circle, cars entering the circle must generally yield the right of way.

I was the red car.

Blue car was driving really fast to enter the circle and I wasn't going to slow down for him to do it. He put down his window and was yelling things at me.
He was really sure that he had the right of way so I had to ask.

This was on campus.

While he may have been required to yield do keep in mind that the "biggest, oldest, ugliest" rule generally prevails.

No... you were already in the rotary, and can't be expected to stop the flow of traffic for every person who wants to get in. The concept of a rotary is that it never stops "spinning." Properly labeled ones near me have Yield signs at the blue car's position to reinforce this.

Red car has right of way UNLESS there is a yield sign in the middle of the circle (yes, it happens)

Last time a guy violated right of way on campus and nearly clipped my car, I honked at him and gave him the finger. Out of nowhere, a cop appeared and pulled him over. Instant karma!

What about a stop light intersection where there is no "left turn yield to oncoming traffic sign?" There's one here where I live now and I have no idea.

dear lord I hope you're kidding. Please tell me you're kidding.

To put it simply - "if by changing your line you put your line in the path of somebody elses, you yield to them". ESPECIALLY when turning left, you never have right of way unless you have a green arrow.

i think all left turns at an intersection must yield, can't think of a situation where it wouldnt be the case..... you don't have a blue car do you? :) jk

A left turn at a traffic light always yields to oncoming traffic, unless you have an arrow specific to you making your left turn. If the traffic light is green to you and the oncoming traffic, left turn always yields.....it's a traffic rule....look it up in your driver's manual. I'm sure you still have one around from when you got your license last week.

3-way intersection where two of the ways have stop signs and you don't.

HATE those.

Yeah, I hate those. Usually accompanied by a yellow blinking light (with the other two directions having red blinking lights). If you're not familiar with the area, there is no indication that you have the right of way.

So if you drove in circles until you ran out of gas, you should have right of way all the way through right? Someone's gonna enter the circle sooner or later and hit you.
