It isn't, which is my point. If I knew AMD was committed to an RDNA3+ product this summer then I would never have invested in the 7900XTX. It would have been worth it for me. Maybe I'll take a whack at the thing tomorrow. So lazy/busy though urgh. Plus having to tear down the old machine will bring a tear to my eye.
There is no RDNA3+ on the desktop. Rumor is that N32, specifically, has some fixes - kind of dubious, but we will all know soon.

Shhh I got some new tubing, I'll probably get it done around Christmas.
After Xmas, what's the word?

I am trying to get confirmation from Sapphire that waterblock will not void warranty in US, website is not user friendly, Sent me to German site, waiting on US site reply.

I see no registration options. for warranty or RMA purposes, before I break the seal on box I want confirmation.

Or i shall return for Aqua or Liquid Devil card. They are running low.

You could try reaching out to the contractor that handles US Sapphire RMA, as well as some AMD I believe. They are called Althon Micro I believe. I have contacted them before for RMA for a Ryzen as well as the previous Sapphire 7900XTX.

Every time I try to wrench up and tear down the old machine, I find some reason why I can't be without a functioning PC for a day or two (or however long it'll take me to finally build out the new system). So everything sits in its boxes, waiting. Well except for the case, motherboard, and PSU. That stuff has been installed for awhile now.

It's sad, I know. I think I like my 3900X too much lol

I know the feeling did that for 10 years. Because of the custom loop and wiring.

Markfw has a 5950X+mobo on the cheap!
Nahhhh I just need to get down to business and put this 7950X3D together and be done with it. A 5950X would not help me much since I would have to tear down this old machine to get it up and running, and at that point, why am I messing with a 5950X?

The idea was to set up a temporary open bench 5950X with the mobo and use it for your urgent needs while you take your time taking apart the old system. Afterwards, put the 5950X in the 3950X mobo and keep it as a backup system and sell the 3950X + 5950X's mobo.

Just installed my BNIB Sapphire Pulse 7900XTX I bought in fs/ft for $610 shipped. I already have inappropriate feelings towards it. 🤣 Scorching hot deal. I am living on the razor's edge and using it with a EVGA Super Nova God 650W until I buy my new VRR 4K gaming TV shortly. It only needs to 1080 60 for now so no big deal. It hasn't used more power than my Hellhound 7800XT so far even in 3DMark where it obviously crushes its scores.

It is surprisingly almost the exact same size as my Hellhound 7800XT, just a tiny bit more thicc.

I don't need two systems, for multiple reasons.

OK, fair enough. But you do have some barely usable backup PC, right? Coz not having one is going to make you absolutely miserable if your primary system suddenly decides to give up the ghost.

Make sure to stress test it and check the hotspot temps. Also, I think the XTX needs to be installed in a certain way for the vapor chamber to work correctly (don't remember the details).
