I don't drink, because my family has an alcoholic history. I don't really see benefits for it. Yes i've had some before, it just isnt anything special. And this choice is really hard since im at college... all the pressure from everyone eventually starts to get to you. So thats why i dont drink.

I drink at a rate of approx. 1 bottle of beer per year - I have a 20-pack of Amberbock sitting in the fridge - I bought it a few months ago and there's ~12 left there still.

I have an occasional beer, because I like it. I don't keep beer in the house, unless I am entertaining. I like to try different beers and I especially like the stronger, bolder flavors (Sam Adams, Pete's) etc.

Grow up drunk

I enjoy wine, so I'll have a glass or two with dinner, or even alone. I will also have an occasional Shiner Bock so long as it's on tap.

I never saw much point in just drinking with the sole purpose of getting drunk. It's even worse when someone grabs about it: "hey man, I just had a lot of alcohol, and I'm drunk!@#"

I personally do not drink. A friend and I vowed we never would after one of our other friends hit a woman while driving drunk and killed her. I don't feel that it is important not to drink anymore, but hey, I made the vow, i might as well keep it now.

I don't drink, but just because I don't care to. There's nothing in the Bible that condemns drinking (only drunkenness), so it's not a religious conviction, and anyone who claims as such needs to do a bit more research.

I drink, but we're talking a beer or two once every other month practically. Never the hard stuff. No particular reason, just never acquired a taste for it.

I drink. Not a regular activity for me, but I'll drink whatever... I'll get sloshed at a party. I won't necessarily, but it wouldn't be out of the ordinary either. I'll drink beer but I don't really like it much. I prefer drinks that taste better, or hard stuff (shots).

Most of the people I know who "don't drink", don't drink for a particular reason.
