Those that are turned in will be added to the red list along with all legal gun owners and convicted felons.

So I'm confused, is the new conservative boogeyman that we're all supposed to be uber afraid of over spending, kenyan-muslim president, socialist kenyan-muslim president, bully chief of staff, uhc, socialism, or the DNC trying to dispute FUD that is being put out by insurance companies? I miss the good old days where it was limited to brown skinned "terrists", taxes, godless heathens getting abortions, gay marriages that would spell the downfall of western civilization.
You guys really need to cut back and keep it simple.

It's so refreshing to see America wake up to what this bastard is doing and fighting back. The DNC even sent out a press memo about how those speaking out against congress in town hall meetings are some funded organization that should be stopped.
Fuck you. This is the people fighting against you. This is OUR COUNTRY, we own it, you work for us. Fuck you obama.

Mr. President,
Although your misinformation campaign is in full swing we will stop you. Your lies are seen and the people no longer trust you. I wish to flag your propaganda and flat out lies so that the truth can be known. Your motives are understood and we don't want it. Give me Liberty, freedom and choice with my healthcare. Respond to me when you've read the bill because otherwise you are flat out wrong and the people will not put up with your lies any longer.

Where's the budget for the public interest on the other side? There isn't much of one.
So, to try to battle the propaganda, asking for the public to alert it to the PR activities of the well-funded propagandists is wrong how?
The medical insurance industry has reportedly hired *350 former Congressional members and staffers* for this battle to protect its gouging of the public.
And we have people here who are fighting hard for them to do just that.
This has to be one of your dumber posts that I have read. For one, the medical industry needs a budget to buy adds and what not, but the idiots in DC are on the tube everyday for free. Now, if you bothered to listen to most of the people that are upset you would find that they are not against health care reform. Most reasonable people would look at several possible solutions and then pick the best one. In reality, the best solution is most likely adding some additional over site and regulation to the industry and deal with illegals weighing the system down. As far as the waste in administration costs, fund a new system for all the insurance companies to use and standardize that part so we can have control of it, it's just paperwork. Only a jackass tears a house down to fix the foundation.

since when does tweaking a bloated and corrupt system work? seriously, when?
the irony is that tons of people who support status quo (or nearly so) for health insurance probably also support the fair tax movement.

There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can?t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we?re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.

Are you so scared of Americans standing up and speaking out against what could be the most impactful legislation on every citizen and really effect everybody on a personal level? Or are we just supposed to shut up and be reported?

This is our country, we own it. By we I mean the people who voted in a Democratic president, a Democratic House and a Democratic Senate. You know, the people who won the fair elections, this is also called the majority.
So no, you don't own it.

Nobody said tweak, oversight and regulations are never small and simple. The Obama/Pelosi answer is to copy a failed program (Medicaid) and put everyone except themselves on it. Which one looks more stupid? Another major issue is Obama is pushing this when he does not even know what it is yet, even making absolute statements about what is in there when it is not or vise versa. I think he just wants to pass it for his ego's sake, not caring what the liberals actually put in there.
His last prime time press conference didn't even explain one thing about the bill except the almost lie, that you will get to keep your current insurance. It lets you keep it if nothing ever changes in the plan or coverage.
IN GENERAL.?Individual health insurance coverage that is not grandfathered health insurance coverage under subsection (a) may only be offered on or after the first day of Y1 as an Exchange-participating health benefits plan.

Uh, well, yeah they are. Funded by the RNC and the health insurance lobby. Ever heard of astroturf? I'm sure there's a few people in there who are independent, but they get their information from the same sources.

What misinformation campaign? Are you upset that Obama hasn't read those cherry picked and out of context email forwards?
The real misinformation is coming from the astroturf on the Republican side... dead Grandmas and all that.
Am I funded by the RNC? Do I get money? No. Do any of my friends and cowokers who feel exactly the way I do about this legislation get paid or organized by a 3rd party? No.
This is the people speaking out against the supposed representatives and obamas push. We don't want it. It's not some conspiracy or organized effort, people don't want this crap and I'm very happy they are speaking out.
And where do you get your information? Glenn Beck? Rush? Hannity? FoxNews.com? Townhall.com? Drudge?
Seriously, ask them to cut you guys a check.
Who the hell is this glenn beck guy you keep associating me with? I've honestly never heard of him.

You post on P&N and have over 40,000 posts and you don't know who Glenn Beck is? Are you also unfamiliar with John Stewart and Bill O'Reilly?

Careful now -- with talk like this, you will be receiving a cease and desist order from Craig via PM at any minute.
Better than a hit-and-run PM by nobodyknows

Yeap, I'm looking at you spidey.
