Thought this should have its own thread since it is a major story.

Wonder why it took so long.

Perhaps the White House thought that the birther story made Republicans looks like fools and enjoyed that aspect of the story. But once the polls started to show that many Americans were starting to feel the same way the White House realized that they had put it out there before it starts to hurt Obama's 2012 chances.

Thoughts on why they held it back so long?

If a bunch of people who hate you demanded something not demanded from all others in that position I'm pretty sure your response would be f**k you.

It's probably whatever the parents wrote on the application, unless there was a compelling reason to change it.

This. It doesn't matter what they called it back then, if his parents filed it as African no one was going to correct them.

Yeah, most people above a birther intellect even back then would not be saying "By African, you mean Negro?"

Maybe in the south, but certainly not in the most racially tolerant state in the country. Seriously funny how many people still think it's fake or question it because it says African. In gonna keep laughing till I give my presentation on a few hours.

In 1961?

Prove it.

I was alive then and I don't remember blacks being listed as or using the term African for their race.

If you can produce other Haywain LFBCs that lists the race of blacks as "African" I will admit I am wrong.

Again, I really don't care where this fool was born. I just want him out of there.

Hey, hey. Ho, ho.
Bobo gots ta go!

Prove that the document is fake or Shut.The.Fuck.Up.

Jesus Christ you fuckers are annoying...

-It was interesting at first, like, *way* back when there may have been some legitimate questions as to his eligibility.
-Then, after *everyone* had seen the evidence, it was kind of cute/amusing. "Oh, look at the cute little birthers getting their panties in a bunch, so adorable. Here, let me get you a tissue, you're drooling again"
-Now the idiocy is just fucking tiresome. "HERP DERP FOLD ON THE PDF PROVES IT DERP!"

And most of the one's I've seen always say something to the effect of:

"HE'S A FUCKING LYING LIAR!!11, AND BLACK, AND MUSLIM!..but I don't care either way"

Mmmm, sure you don't care. This shit eats at you. It keeps you awake at night.

And that, quite honestly, brings a smile to my face. So thanks, I guess.

The tea-bag-ditto-head chant lyrics are just icing on your little psycho-babble cake.

Completely unsurprising. There was never any question that the birthers would still argue even after the long form was released. There is nothing that will satisfy these people.

The sad reality is the only thing that would shut them up is if it became socially acceptable to just call Obama a n____r in public as was also customary in the past (since we are talking labels). Since that won't happen veiled racism will have to suffice.

What's yours? If you can post a number of Haywain LFBC of that era where the race of a black person was officially listed as "African" I will admit I am wrong.

I'm still waiting for your proof that you weren't sodomized every night by your father.

Now RNC Chairman Reince Priebus is blaming Obama for distracting the nation from more important topics like the economy by discussing his birth certificate.

LOL, this stuff just can't be made up.

Somebody should ask him if he really thinks its wise for anyone that easily distracted to be involved in important topics.

Reince Priebus? That doesn't sound like an even slightly American name. I want to see his birth certificate.
