nope. Even Mohammed was far more tolerant of other religions than any other nation at his time. You were encouraged to convert to Islam, of course, b/c of the tax benefits, but no ill-will was harbored for those that were not. Also, Sala'hadin was easily the most open and tolerant leader when in control of the Holy Land.

The thing is, if you converted, you couldn't convert back. That's when you're head is gonna come off.

An "All" anything world wouldn't be as bad as many think. Much of the harshness under various Ideological Regimes comes from resisting the Ideology of competing regimes. This is especially true of Ideological Regimes which are struggling to keep up with others. The further they fall behind, the more harsh they become.

More Liberal Regimes are almost always the Dominant or closely related to the Dominant Regimes. That happens because those Regimes get past the struggle of mere survival and can devote their time to other pursuits.

All that said, whether Christian, Muslim, Communist, Fascist, or Other it does not matter much. Any one of those Dominating would eventually Liberalize and become something similar to what's common in the Western World. The only difference would come down to what are the Legends, Holidays, and what not that People remember.

Voted "Muslim", simply because of the lopsided Poll results so far. I reiterate, it would not matter which Dominates.

But in my heart of hearts, I realize that the first five minutes of Idiocracy is what's really going on.

You see. skin color is something we're born with. We can't change it, and it doesn't mean anything except what color our skin is.
