I was raised to hate communists..."Better Dead than Red," and "Kill a Commie for your Mommie" were something of a rally cry 40 years ago.

Still, I think I could deal with the godless Commies better than I could the Muslims. (for whom I hold even more dislike)

In either scenario, I'd probably end up deaded pretty quick. Whether it was from creating "unrest" in Communist China...or for my "unbeliever" ways in the Muslim country. Hell, knowing that going in, I'd probably just have to take out as many as I could before the fuckers got me...

Most of the people who replied to this thread have no idea what Islam is at all. Al Qaeda and other terrorist groups are not representative of Islam at all. They miss the point entirely. Hell, only 20% of muslims are arab.

Of the 1.4 billion (and growing) Muslims in the world, a tiny minority are the crazy fundamentalist types.

In some aspects, China is more capitalist than the U.S. China is not really communist at all, totalitarian sure, but the economic system is pretty market-oriented nowadays.

I saw more Porsche Canyennes in Shanghai than I have ever seen in the United States.

Another example, albeit a bad example of capitalism, is that if you have life threatening cancer, the surgeon don't touch their knives until the money is in the Hospital's hands in China.

The very foundation of Islam is the same as that of Judaism and Christianity - There being only one single loving god and an innate goodness of people. To make claims about how Islam is fundamentally violent and crazy is ignorant.

The ones who want Sharia law, and the subjugation of women are the extremists. In fact, the Islamic interpretation of Genesis has both adam and eve eating the apple on their own. Not blaming eve for everything. Also there isn't original sin, which is a perk.

And muslim extremists aren't the only ones commiting horrifying atrocities.

Look at the KKK in america. Terrorists.

Or the Lords Resistance Army, who have been committing absolutely horrifying acts of barbarism in Uganda and recently DRC killing entire villages, raping, pillaging, forcing children into their ranks and into sex slavery. All because their leader thinks he is channeling the holy spirit.

Or the National Liberation Front of Tripura, a seperatist group in India who rapes, pillages and forces conversion to Christianity at gunpoint.

Wouldn't it be disingenuous to represent those groups as Christianity? Then why is okay to represent extremists and terrorists as Islam? Just because the public doesn't care about Africa or India doesn't make Christian terrorists any less evil.

Have you ever read the Qu'ran? Because it doesn't seem like it. The Bible is more violent than the Qu'ran is. The Bible also talks about expanding the religion, where is the outrage over that?
