Yes, we all make 7 figures in ATOT... I'd like to think we can be above that sometimes and just provide an honest answer.

1. What is your line of work and title?

2. Where do you live?

3. How much do you make?

If you are somehow 'offended' by this, then simply don't participate. No one is forcing you to.

I'll start:

1. Project Manager in SaaS consulting (bit of IT too)

2. NYC

3. 80k, which is plain in NYC.

I know we have some business owners here making bank and I remember few lawyers mentioning their X-mas bonus equivalent to my entire year's salary.

yikes, i had no idea you were in living under the poverty line (for nyc standards).
no wonder you could only afford that scarf, instead of a winter coat.

My wife and I work at a university and do consulting work on the side. I'm an engineer and she's in instruction technology.

Me:
Primary: 70K (+25K benefits package)
Secondary (consulting): 30-50K

Wife:
Primary: 50K (+17K benefits package)
Seondary (consulting): 15-25K

Total is between 165-195K depending on how much consulting we do.

3. How much do you make? None of your business. :) I am not paid enough, though, and am debating how to approach my boss.

I've never understood why people make their salary such a big secret. Same with who they vote for. Why do you have to hide who you vote for? You're either ashamed or you don't have a good reason why you voted for them.

Because it's rude as hell. Asking rich people what they do or how much they make is like asking them if you can fvck their wife or girlfriend. You just don't.

I'm a SharePoint guy too. Sounds like you might be in house? I'm a dev/architect consultant.

*Groan* You're like that half-retarded kid in class who thought of one lame joke and use it the whole semester while everyone's shaking head.

Don't be jealous, let's see a pic of you and your GF then. Or stfu and continue being an internet troll. Thank you.

to the SP guys in here. I'm just getting into the field - saw an opening in my company and took it...but it was a lateral move, salary wise. What is the earning potential for someone just getting into the field, but has 7+ yrs experience in software dev and IT?

Just accepted a new job and still in school.

IT Service Engineer for a home builder in Dallas. 45k. Plus what I do on the side. 5-10k depending what people need.

Beats the 15k I was making working retail during school.

Just looking for a decent apt in the Dallas area now.

What's the national average salary? Like 30k or something? AT is averaging 80-100k. Yet I don't know how many times I look in the hot deals forum and someone's like "man this was such a good deal at $39.99 but the $6 shipping kills it."
