I haven't bought gas since before the invasion of Ukraine.

Fact: I have been quad roller skating ~6x as many miles as I've driven my car during the pandemic.

$2.03/litre here. I'll be working from home for next little stretch so won't have to drive. I need to remember to setup the charger under the hood actually... I do have a slow drain. It's probably the auto starter since that's basically a small computer that's running all the time.

I will be driving a lot more once I start working on my off grid camp though... it's like an hour from here. Probably start that in like June. I could technically go now though as the snow is mostly gone but I have projects to do here too.

$4.39 even at the Safeway station in the "rural suburbia" of my county.

Prices are only going up, up, up.

I was assuming so, after all his whinging about how it's probably going to go over $2 and then stay there forever, I figured he'd be a bit more loud about it if it had suddenly jumped to $3.
Yeah 3.03 a liter would be 11.51/gal, which would be the highest price in the world.
Surpassing Hong Kong at 10.87.

Doh yeah meant 2 not 3. Probably be at very least another couple years before it hits 3. I can see it hit maybe $2.40 or so by mid summer. Diesel is already around that, so I could see that hit $3 much sooner.

Paid $4.50 on Saturday just north of Boston and $4.75 on Long Island on Sunday. Happy I don't drive much, and I'll be even happier when I finally get my hands on a hybrid sedan to replace my aging Ford sedan.

We're looking for a hybrid Elantra (Insight was also on the list, but Honda discontinued it and dealers were jacking up the price). PHEV was tempting especially with the MA and Federal credits, but we don't have a super reliable place to plug in (could probably pull something off), and we'll also be likely moving when my spouse starts her residency in about 3 years, further throwing a wrench into it all when it comes to plugs.

Tuesday - $4.69
Wednesday - $4.79
Thursday - $4.89 but diesel dropped to $5.99

NW PA

The state with the highest tax rate on gasoline is Pennsylvania at $0.576 / gallon followed closely by California at $0.511 / gallon.

The highest tax rate on diesel is $0.741 / gallon again from Pennsylvania.
If only there was a way to fix roads & bridges with this money
