The Chevron and Shell stations near me were 4.99 two days ago, and yesterday they are both 5.39.
Today the Chevron station went up another .20, so 5.59.

The cheap stations are still a little below $5.
I posted the above on Mar 5th, a few days later the price at the Chevron went to 5.99.
It's April 30th and it hasn't dropped a penny.
There are a few stations with gas at 5.29 to 5.50.
Nothing under 5.00.
California.

Paid $3.38 at RaceTrac in Duluth, GA, yesterday. But I was more excited I got 16.2 mpg on my last full tank of gas. Granted it was almost entirely highway miles but still 16.2 mpg for old LX 470 is still great. I get about 12 mpg if I'm lucky driving in the city.

Drive a mid-size SUV and average about 20 mpg. Commute to work has gotten expensive AF. About 30 miles one way and have to be onsite every day for about 2 weeks in may. Gonna be about $100/week at these prices.

Mobil up the street from me @ $3.89.... Valero on Route 1 in Orange @ $3.71 and cheapest in my immediate area.

Fortunately my Honda averages around 40 mpg. 🙂

Looks like gas going up everywhere again. Maybe switching to summer formula? That tends to make prices go up. They'll use anything as an excuse lol.

Just broke the $2 mark for first time. Crazy to see this. I remember thinking at one point "one day it might hit $2" and that day has come.

$2.04/litre to be exact.

I remember when it broke $1.00 after 9/11 and that was a pretty big deal. They had to update the signs to fit the extra digit. It's now double that. Another couple decades and they might have to add another digit to the signs when it hits $10 lol.

Ha ha ha ha.
Greedy mofos. Not only has that Chevron station not dropped their price any, they just put it up another .20/gal to 6.19 from the other day.
I just saw another station that had diesel at 6.99

Here.
$1.91/L for Regular
$2.61/L for Diesel

By far the highest I've ever seen, so is Furnace oil that we use, and it's still below freezing at night, so we've been running electric heaters a lot to avoid filling the giant furnace tank at these prices.

$4.23 @ local Mobil for reg unleaded yesterday.... fortunately even at that price with my Honda $10 will last me a week but this still really sucks!

😕
