What's your gasoline costing?

Isn't it more of a state thing than Federal?
California works hard at keeping gas prices high, and are pretty successful at it. I would guess that building a new refinery there would be nearly impossible.
I'm honestly not sure - I assume the states would have a huge say in it, but given our... changing way of doing business, I'd imagine the Gulf and Plains states would be totally on board with more refineries. Presumably the west coast states would be against connecting to the pipeline network.

Safeway in Aberdeen is $4.09, while Costco in Nor-Cal's Central Valley is $3.69-$3.89

Something is wrong with the world when CA's gas prices are lower than WA's.

Yeah, I am a little cheaper than you.

Safeway $3.89
Costco $3.79
ARCO 3.99
Shell $4.59
Chevron $4.69

Around 1.37/litre for regular here. Have not filled up in like 2 weeks even after going to my property twice. About due though. New truck seems to be better on gas than old one. Might just be a bigger tank too... will find out when I fill up.

Kind of OT for the thread but did you ever get your L2 EVSE installed? If I remember right you went with a ChargePoint unit correct?
Yup it's up and running! I can charge for "free" at work but if I'm home and need to juice up I got 10.5kW at the ready!

To keep my comments gasoline-centric, for the BEV curious my cost-basis efficiency for home charging is about 95MPGe assuming $3.00 gasoline ($0.113/kWh).

Which coincidentally, gas right now regular is 2.99 at my local station across the street

It's been around $3/G here for about ever now. It goes above, and it goes below, but I bet the average over the last few months is $3.

Pretty wide range right now, 1.39 at the cheapest and 1.44 at the more expensive for regular.

As a side note my new truck is way better on gas than my old one. I'm only getting gas like once a month now and that's not even filling from empty.

Doesn't the computer compute gas mileage? My 08 Dakota and 16 F150 do. I find watching the gauge makes me drive more conservatively. I know how to reduce fuel usage, but without a gauge to watch, I just mash the pedal. Kind of adds a little fun to driving trying to game the system.

Both trucks had very similar gas mileage, which is interesting due to the size difference. The F150 matches the Dakota because of the aluminum body and aggressive upshifting. I'm currently at 18.3 mpg. That's on the higher side. I've had a lot of clear roads, and not a lot of light sitting. Yearly average is probably 16.5-17 mpg.

Looked at my last post and on September 19 regular gas was $2.799 at Tallahassee Sam's. Today it is $2.639. Don't know how long it will last, but right now I like the direction the price is going.

Anyone have thoughts on E15 in a fairly modern vehicle? A Sheetz has opened up somewhat close, and they sell E15 at a decent discount from econo fuel. Not sure exactly how much. Might be 20¢ cheaper. I got a tank, and didn't really notice a difference. I expected worse gas mileage, but that seemed about right. I specifically looked up my truck, and Ford says it's ok. Wondering if there's much experience with it in the field.
