Open Water.

I use to force myself to sit through bad movies until I saw that pile of dogshit, I simply couldn't. Now I turn movies off when they are awful or bore me. I guess you could say Open Water changed my life!

I fell asleep during the movie, when I woke up it was still playing, and I didn't miss anything. The only reason I watched as much of it as I did was because I was hoping something interesting would happen.

Instead they just floated around in the water crying.

For those who enjoy bad movies, do not watch this. It is absolutely the least interesting movie I have ever attemtpted to watch. I didn't even make it through 15 minutes. I tried watching it drunk, and I didn't make it past 15 minutes without putting something else on.

It is pure crap. The worst movie I have ever seen or heard of BY A LONGSHOT.

Just as a quick reference, A movie that completely sucks,
The Quick and the Undead is a stunning MASTER WORK OF GENIOUS compared to Geek Maggot Bingo.

I would rather watch the stupid Verizon Guy say "do you hear me now" looped for all eternity. Also, I would rather be burned alive with the annoying looped repeating commercial.

haha, wow

I'm intrigued!

I won't make friends here, but I have to say it anyway "The Lord of the Rings" from Peter Jackson.

Yes, talking about it makes me feel better! ;)

I'd like to think that movies that are so bad, they are actually fun to watch don't really count in the "worst movies" list, as you can actually get some enjoyment out of them.

This precludes movies such as Plan 9, Killer Klowns, GNFOS, Troll 2, etc.

Bad movies must hover in that line between being genuinely bad, but not bad enough to be somewhat comical. In that vein, Jeepers Creepers certainly fits the list, as does Alone in the Dark.

Battlefield Earth was pretty bad, but I'm sure I've seen worse. Its hard to pin down just which movie is the worst.

The worst movie that most people think is actually a good movie is Signs. That movie pisses me off.

Battlefield Earth and Howard the Duck both fall into that so-bad-they're-almost-good category IMO. Sure, they're bad, but you can still have a good time watching them. A truly bad movie is one that actually hurts to watch all the way through, either because you fall asleep watching it or because you want to throw things at the screen.

Signs IS a good movie. It just seems to hit some kind of nerve with some people I've noticed.

The worst movie I've seen recently was Superman Returns. I still can't believe that pseudo-Messianic turkey got mostly good reviews.
